Booking came to hold between 70 and 90% of online hotel intermediation in Spain, according to Spain's competition authority, the CNMC (2024). A booking that comes through your own site pays no commission to any intermediary.
Before booking a table, most people check the menu and the reviews, according to a 2026 TheFork study. The site has to put them in plain sight, not three clicks down.
