01The problem

A family agency in Rivas competing against international operators with incomparable budgets. On an equal digital shopfront, the biggest always wins.

02The strategy

Don't compete on the same table. Big operators sell a catalogue; they sell someone who knows the country and answers in person. The site had to carry that in the first scroll, not on the about page.

03Art direction

Original illustration instead of stock, because stock is exactly what the big operators use. Motion follows the scroll as if the visitor were descending through the country.

04Design

Ten experiences and routes published, each told as a short story rather than a product sheet. Direct contact appears in every one: the conversation is the product.

05Development

Trilingual Spanish, English and French — three real source markets for Nicaragua — with hand-written scroll animation instead of a generic library.

06The result

A shopfront that doesn't try to look like a big operator — quite the opposite — and that speaks the three languages its clients arrive in.
